Alison Lynch serves as the Director of Art Collections for Launch Now. As director, she wears many hats: art historical researcher, collections registrar, and art handler. An enthusiastic storyteller, Alison’s work revolves around documenting the fascinating history behind each object in the Launch Now collection. In understanding the importance of these objects, Alison feels that we can create an atmosphere where art, science, and fiction intersect for anincomparable experience.
Alison holds a BA in Art History and Political Science from Gettysburg College and a MA in Fine and Decorative Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. She studied art history and en plein air painting in Aix-en-Provence, France and has worked in art advising, public art, and in the collections department of the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art. She counts herself among the lucky few who get to catch a glimpse of the past through the objects we create and collect.
With expertise in eighteenth century English furniture, Alison can frequently be seen talking to uninterested parties about mahogany chairs. In her free time, you can find Alison organizing public art installations and events as the Co-Chair of the Cherry Hills Village Art Commission, working on mastering her cross-stitching skills, and planning trips to cities world-wide in pursuit of good food, friendship, and once in a lifetime auctions.
